Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and client specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (training provided) safely and efficiently.
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring proper placement and storage within the warehouse.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure accuracy and integrity before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English, including shipping labels and picking lists.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate counting and inventory verification.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift certification) is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole) are considered an asset.
