Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick sheets.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for packing and shipment, ensuring they are securely handled.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged products to a supervisor immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills (English).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a physical labour role (e.g., landscaping, construction) is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices.
