Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications and deadlines.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all company and industry safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting stock, replenishing shelves, and conducting cycle counts.
- Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, organizing goods for storage or shipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Report any discrepancies, damages to products or equipment, or safety concerns to immediate supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and verification.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Effective communication and proven teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with standard warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center role.
- Experience operating handheld scanners or working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Valid forklift certification or previous experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Proficiency in German language skills is a plus, but not mandatory for the role.
