Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to customer orders and shipping instructions.
- Verify quantities, items, and documentation against outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs forms as required.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper loading procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the shipping area.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with inventory management to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Report any damaged products, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
