Career.zycto is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Stock Controller to join our Gohlis, Leipzig team for an immediate hire. As our Warehouse Stock Controller, you will be the linchpin in managing our stock levels, from receipt to dispatch. Your day-to-day will involve meticulous record-keeping, conducting regular stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. You will play a vital role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring that all goods are correctly identified, stored, and readily available when needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Perform regular stock counts (cycle counts and periodic inventories) and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of all warehouse stock.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and shipping departments to optimize stock flow.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting trends and potential issues.
  • Identify and report slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete stock.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards within the warehouse.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of inventory control procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Clerk, or similar role in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • German language proficiency (B2 or higher) due to local operations and team communication.
  • Valid forklift operator license (advantageous, but training can be provided).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory modules.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies in a warehouse setting.
  • Fluency in English (in addition to German) for international supply chain interactions.
  • A track record of identifying and implementing inventory process improvements.
