Job Description

Mazowe Citrus Estates is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic operations team in Mazowe, Mashonaland Central Province. This critical full-time role is at the heart of our supply chain, ensuring the efficient and orderly management of our significant inventory of agricultural inputs, packaging materials, finished produce, and other essential supplies. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storage to dispatch and inventory control. You will lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies.
  • Implement and enforce strict inventory control measures, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed within the warehouse.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring they are in good working order and operated safely.
  • Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of goods and meet operational targets.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Handle and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
