Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team in Lepage, Rimouski. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment and compliance with all regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper functionality and safety checks.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, transportation) to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational metrics.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and conflict resolution within the team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar leadership role in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain one rapidly).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
