Job Description

The Warehouse Tote Handler role is pivotal to the seamless operation of our clients’ distribution and logistics centers in Esquimalt, Victoria. Working on behalf of Career.zycto, you will be responsible for the efficient and careful handling, sorting, and movement of totes and other packaged goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the physical stamina required to manage various types of inventory.

As a valued member of the warehouse team, you will contribute directly to the successful processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Your daily tasks will involve receiving incoming totes, accurately verifying contents against manifests, and meticulously placing them into designated storage areas. For outbound processes, you will be crucial in picking and preparing totes for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and staged for loading. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and store incoming totes and materials accurately.
  • Verify counts and quality of incoming goods against manifests or purchase orders.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing totes for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks or other non-motorized equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehousing and material handling.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
