As a Warehouse Tote Operator, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our facility. Your primary responsibility will involve handling, organizing, and preparing totes (containers) for various stages of the warehousing process, from inbound receiving to outbound shipping. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, physically capable, and eager to learn new skills in a structured environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, sort, and organize incoming totes and containers.
- Efficiently stage and prepare empty totes for use in various departments.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
- Monitor tote inventory levels and communicate shortages or excesses to supervisors.
- Perform quality checks on totes to ensure they are clean, undamaged, and suitable for use.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including cleaning and maintaining a tidy work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Accurately record and report tote movement using manual or electronic systems.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and literacy skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is an asset, but not required.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift – certification not required for entry level, training provided).
