Key Responsibilities
- Directing and assisting customers in the proper disposal and segregation of waste materials.
- Monitoring incoming waste for compliance with facility regulations and identifying prohibited items.
- Operating and maintaining site equipment (e.g., compactors, weighbridges) safely and efficiently.
- Conducting routine site inspections to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety standards are met.
- Educating the public on waste reduction, recycling, and safe disposal practices.
- Reporting any facility issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
- Maintaining accurate records of waste tonnage and facility usage.
- Performing general labouring duties as required, including litter picking and sweeping.
