Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in the daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and processes.
- Learn and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various treatment processes, including chemical handling and dosing.
- Perform routine sampling, testing, and analysis of water quality, accurately recording data.
- Participate in the inspection, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of pumps, motors, valves, filters, and other treatment plant machinery.
- Support the calibration and troubleshooting of process control instrumentation.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and reports, utilizing basic computer systems.
- Respond to and assist in resolving operational issues and emergencies under supervision.
- Engage actively in all provided training programs and mentorship opportunities.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with hands-on tasks.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
