Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, user-centric interfaces for Expat.com's web platform, ensuring an optimal user experience (UX) and visual appeal.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using industry-standard design tools.
- Ensure all designs are fully responsive and optimized for various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that align with business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs, continually improving the user journey.
- Maintain and evolve a consistent visual style, brand guidelines, and UI pattern library across all web properties.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, actively suggesting improvements and innovations.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, advocating for user needs and design best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design for web applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript principles for effective communication with developers.
- Expertise in responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches.
- Strong grasp of visual design principles including typography, color theory, layout, and iconography.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
