Job Description
Astek Mauritius is on the lookout for a highly skilled and versatile Full-Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and efficient querying.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain code quality and identify potential issues.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and application functionality.
- Deploy and monitor applications in production environments, ensuring stability and performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python (Django/Flask), Node.js (Express), Java (Spring Boot), or PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
