Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Web Developer with expertise in both Backend and Frontend technologies to join our innovative team in Stapleford, Nottingham. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure full-stack web applications.
- Design and implement user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks and best practices.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code, APIs, and services.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and uphold coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of backend development with languages like Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs design and integration.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
