Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using modern front-end and back-end frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other development teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications to enhance functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across projects.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, industry trends, and development methodologies to continuously improve our tech stack and processes.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including conceptualisation, design, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance of web applications across various devices and platforms.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with at least 3 years in a professional, full-time capacity.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (including pre-processors like SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Expertise with at least one leading JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of back-end development principles and practical experience with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Java).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration within a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
