Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and specific requirements for wedding and event photography.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, ensuring all necessary equipment is in excellent working order, and developing shot lists.
- Capture high-quality, emotionally resonant photographs during weddings, engagement parties, corporate events, and other special occasions.
- Utilize professional lighting techniques, posing guidance, and creative composition to produce stunning imagery.
- Manage and organize photographic equipment, ensuring its safe transportation and optimal performance.
- Perform extensive post-production work, including culling, color correction, retouching, and enhancing images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Deliver final edited photo collections within agreed-upon deadlines, adhering to high standards of quality.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service throughout the entire client interaction process.
- Backup and archive all photographic data securely.
- Stay updated with the latest photography trends, equipment, and editing techniques.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras and lenses.
- Expertise in photographic lighting techniques (natural light, flash, off-camera flash).
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a strong background in wedding and event photography.
