Job Description
Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organised, compassionate, and proactive Weekend Care Lead Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Strensall, York. This crucial part-time role offers flexible hours over the weekend, making it ideal for someone looking to balance professional dedication with personal commitments. As a Weekend Care Lead Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact and support for our care professionals and clients during non-traditional working hours. Your primary mission will be to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality care, manage schedules, respond to urgent queries, and provide invaluable leadership to our weekend care team.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of care, acting as the first line of support for our carers. This involves addressing any immediate concerns, assisting with unforeseen changes to care plans, and ensuring that all care visits are covered efficiently and effectively. We understand that weekends can present unique challenges, and your ability to think on your feet, problem-solve calmly, and communicate clearly will be paramount. You will be responsible for creating and distributing weekend rotas, managing last-minute adjustments due to sickness or emergencies, and liaising with on-call management for more complex issues.
Beyond the operational aspects, this role is deeply human-centric. You will be a mentor and motivator for our weekend care staff, offering guidance, encouragement, and ensuring they feel supported and valued. You’ll also be instrumental in fostering positive relationships with our clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. If you possess a genuine desire to make a significant impact on individuals’ lives, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are committed to upholding the highest standards of care even when offices are quieter, then Career.zycto offers the perfect platform for your talents. This is more than just a coordination role; it’s an opportunity to be the backbone of weekend care services, ensuring peace of mind for clients and support for carers.
