Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support weekend care assistants, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring adherence to care plans and company standards.
- Manage weekend scheduling and cover arrangements for care staff.
- Respond to urgent client needs and emergencies, making informed decisions.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain high standards of care.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, families, and care staff during weekends.
- Assist in the development and review of individual care plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care activities and incidents.
- Promote client independence, dignity, and choice at all times.
- Uphold health and safety policies and CQC regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a care setting.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a care role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in administering medication safely and accurately.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
