Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to weekend care staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Conduct regular spot checks and quality assurance visits to ensure high standards of care delivery.
- Manage and update client care plans, ensuring they are person-centred and responsive to individual needs.
- Act as the first point of contact for weekend staff and client queries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to care emergencies and unexpected situations, making informed decisions to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant care regulations, company policies, and health and safety guidelines.
- Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of new care staff members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports and supervision notes.
- Liaise with clients, their families, and external professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
- Participate in on-call duties as required, providing remote support to weekend teams.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the social care sector (minimum 3 years).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrable knowledge of care standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications
