Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and medication prompts as required, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Engage residents in meaningful social, recreational, and educational activities, both within the residence and in the wider community, fostering independence, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all residents, adhering strictly to all health and safety guidelines and company protocols.
  • Accurately observe, report, and meticulously record changes in residents' condition, behaviour, or needs to senior staff, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues, promoting a harmonious, collaborative, and supportive atmosphere.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection, and professional conduct, at all times.
  • Participate actively in mandatory training sessions and embrace professional development opportunities to continuously enhance skills and knowledge within the residential care field.
