Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes and materials.
- Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different types of metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
- Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for welding.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure project completion on schedule.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding machinery and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document work completed and materials used as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Welder, with strong proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Sound knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in operating manual and semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
