You will be instrumental in assisting senior inspectors with their daily tasks, including preparing inspection reports, documenting findings, interpreting engineering drawings, and understanding welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR). Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior welding inspectors with visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) operations.
  • Learn and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., CWB, AWS, ASME).
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, material traceability, and defect logs.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Verify proper fit-up, weld preparation, and compliance with welding procedures.
  • Observe and learn proper safety protocols and practices in industrial settings.
  • Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to enhance technical knowledge.
