- Learn and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., CWB, AWS, ASME).
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, material traceability, and defect logs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
- Verify proper fit-up, weld preparation, and compliance with welding procedures.
