Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute a diverse range of wellness programs and activities (e.g., fitness challenges, mindfulness workshops, nutritional seminars, stress management sessions).
- Promote program participation through effective internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and presentations.
- Source and manage relationships with external wellness vendors, facilitators, and partners.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness and impact of wellness initiatives using key performance indicators and employee feedback.
- Manage the annual wellness budget, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact programming.
- Act as a primary resource for employees seeking information and guidance on health and wellness topics.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in corporate wellness to continually enhance offerings.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate wellness into the broader organizational strategy and culture.
- Organize and facilitate health screenings, flu shot clinics, and other preventative health events.
- Ensure all wellness programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing and implementing corporate wellness programs.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging wellness content and activities.
- Ability to analyze program data and generate meaningful reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Wellness Practitioner, Health Coach).
- Experience with wellness platforms or HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of Canadian health and safety regulations.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
