Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Window Cleaner specializing in building and high-rise structures to join our dedicated team in London. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to maintaining the pristine appearance of some of the city’s most prominent commercial and residential buildings. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients’ properties boast immaculate glass surfaces, providing unobstructed views and enhancing their overall curb appeal. We are looking for an individual who is not only adept with various high-access cleaning techniques, including abseiling and cradle work, but also possesses an unwavering commitment to health and safety protocols.
Your role will involve working at significant heights, often in challenging weather conditions, demanding exceptional physical fitness, mental fortitude, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning windows, frames, and other exterior glass surfaces, utilizing specialized equipment and eco-friendly cleaning solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional window cleaning on high-rise commercial and residential buildings using various access methods (e.g., abseiling, cradles, water-fed poles, cherry pickers).
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, company policies, and site-specific risk assessments.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, ensuring it is in safe working condition and reporting any defects immediately.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up safety barriers, warning signs, and securing access points.
- Efficiently clean windows, glass panels, frames, and other exterior glass surfaces to a streak-free finish.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site management regarding work progress and any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment checks, and incident reports.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a high-rise window cleaner.
- IRATA Level 1 (or higher) Rope Access Technician certification.
- Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) PAL Card for operating cherry pickers/MEWPs.
- Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety procedures related to working at height.
- Excellent physical stamina and comfort working at significant heights.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Working at Height certification and harness training.
- Full UK driving license with a clean record.
- Experience with various window cleaning techniques and equipment.
