Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
  • Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools like GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to automate software delivery and deployment.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure optimal uptime, reliability, and security of production and non-production environments.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures to enhance application scalability and resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and resilience, providing expert guidance on cloud-native patterns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to security best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements across all cloud environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response, resolution, and post-mortem analysis to minimize service disruption.
  • Rigorously document all infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures to maintain high standards of clarity and reproducibility.
  • Mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute actively to the collective expertise of the DevOps practice.
  • Stay continuously informed about emerging DevOps tools, trends, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role in a professional environment.
  • Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Demonstrable experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
