Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process high volumes of employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries regarding expense policies, procedures, and system usage, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Perform regular audits of expense reports to identify discrepancies, non-compliance, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including HR, Legal, and IT, to ensure expense policies and systems are robust and effectively implemented.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular expense reports and analyses for management, highlighting trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of expense management systems (e.g., Concur) and processes.
  • Stay informed about relevant tax laws and regulatory changes impacting expense reporting and ensure company policies are updated accordingly.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close processes related to expense accruals and reconciliations.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on expense policy and system usage for new and existing employees.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, specifically with expense management or accounts payable.
  • Proven proficiency with expense management software (e.g., SAP Concur, Expensify) and strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance related to expenses.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications
