Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and maintain large volumes of financial data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform detailed data cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Develop and generate financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business analysis, client services, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., accountants, consultants, IT) to understand data requirements and deliver insightful solutions.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and insights within financial data, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to enhance data quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and propose effective, long-term solutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for financial data management and analysis tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in financial data analysis and management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and business metrics.
- Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA, relevant data analytics certification).
