Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process insurance policy documentation, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with FCA regulations, company policies, and data protection guidelines.
- Liaise with underwriting teams, brokers, and clients to resolve operational queries and discrepancies.
- Administer policy changes, cancellations, and claims-related paperwork, maintaining precise records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Prepare regular operational reports, analysing data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of A-Plan's insurance products, systems, and procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end reconciliation activities, ensuring financial data integrity.
- Contribute to training and development initiatives for new team members as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in insurance operations or back-office administration.
- Excellent understanding of general insurance principles and regulations (e.g., FCA rules).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

- CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualifications or working towards them.
