As an Integration Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable integration solutions using various technologies and platforms.
- Develop and manage APIs (RESTful, SOAP) to facilitate data exchange between internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other development teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integrated systems.
- Implement data transformation, routing, and orchestration logic within integration workflows.
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of all integration components.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging integration technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Extensive experience with API design, development, and management (RESTful, SOAP).
- Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Solid understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native integration services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Previous experience within the financial services or insurance industry.
