Farfetch is seeking a dedicated Work from Home Marketplace Operations Partner to join our innovative team, based remotely within Chelsea, London. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our luxury marketplace, acting as a key liaison between Farfetch and our network of esteemed brand partners and boutiques. This position demands a strategic thinker who can not only manage daily operational workflows but also identify opportunities for process improvements and partner success. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational journey for a portfolio of our partners, from initial onboarding and comprehensive catalog management to efficient order fulfilment, inventory optimisation, and rigorous performance monitoring. Your ability to analyse complex data sets, troubleshoot intricate operational issues, and communicate effectively across various internal and external stakeholders will be absolutely vital in maintaining Farfetch’s high standards of service and operational excellence across our expansive global platform. We are looking for someone who can anticipate potential issues, implement preventative measures, and drive continuous improvement within our marketplace ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end operational workflow for a portfolio of Farfetch partners, ensuring compliance with marketplace standards and SLAs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners regarding operational queries, issues, and strategic improvements.
  • Oversee partner onboarding, product catalog integration, inventory management, and order fulfilment processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, system issues, and performance challenges.
  • Monitor partner performance metrics, analyse data to identify trends, and implement strategies for optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Product, Technology, Logistics) to enhance partner experience and platform functionality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, providing training and guidance on best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes and tools.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on operational performance and key metrics.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and competitor activities to maintain Farfetch's competitive edge.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, or account management.
  • Proven experience working with online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with CRM or project management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying tools.
  • Familiarity with luxury fashion retail or a passion for the industry.
  • Experience with international operations and cross-cultural communication.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Italian, French, Portuguese) is a plus.
