Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging virtual training sessions and workshops across various topics relevant to Capita's business units.
- Facilitate interactive learning experiences using virtual tools and platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, proprietary LMS) to maximize participant engagement.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and audience needs.
- Assess participant comprehension and application of learned skills through various evaluation methods, including quizzes, role-plays, and practical exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to learners to support their continuous professional development.
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and up-to-dateness of all training materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in virtual facilitation, instructional design, and adult learning methodologies.
- Manage virtual classroom logistics, including participant engagement, technical troubleshooting, and effective time management to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing training programs, materials, and learning technologies.
- Track and report on training effectiveness, participant feedback, and key performance indicators to demonstrate ROI and inform future L&D strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in delivering virtual training and facilitation within a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and modern learning methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex) for dynamic training delivery.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences remotely, manage virtual classroom dynamics, and foster an inclusive, interactive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Certification in Training & Assessment (e.g., CIPD Learning & Development, TAP Certificate, or equivalent professional qualification).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration, content uploading, and reporting.
- Experience working in a large, complex corporate or outsourced services environment, understanding its unique training demands.
- Knowledge of various e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) or multimedia development.
