Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on all aspects of workplace relations, including German labor law, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and resolve complex employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters with fairness and impartiality.
- Interpret and apply relevant industrial awards, collective agreements, and legislative requirements (e.g., German labor law) to ensure compliance.
- Develop, implement, and review workplace policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal changes.
- Conduct thorough internal investigations into workplace conduct, harassment, discrimination, and other employee-related complaints.
- Support collective bargaining processes and manage relationships with works councils and trade unions, fostering constructive dialogue.
- Facilitate training sessions for managers and staff on workplace relations topics, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive initiatives and strategic advice.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of German labor law (Arbeitsrecht) and industrial relations practices.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and mediation skills.
