Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of workshop technicians and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily workshop operations, including job assignments, workflow management, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all projects are executed according to specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Implement and enforce strict safety regulations and compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels for tools, materials, and spare parts, initiating procurement when necessary.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and training opportunities for team members.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare reports on workshop performance, budget adherence, and operational metrics for senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in workshop management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating staff.
- Proficiency in operational planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
