Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of Youth Care Workers, providing guidance and daily oversight.
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and personal development of young people in our care.
  • Implement and monitor individual care plans, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each resident.
  • Organise and facilitate engaging recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting healthy relationships and positive behavior.
  • Document incidents, observations, and progress reports accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic living environment.
  • Assist in de-escalating conflicts and managing challenging behaviors with empathy and professional techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
  • Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns promptly.

  • Full UK Driving License (preferred for transporting residents or attending meetings).
