Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Case Managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring all data entry is timely and precise.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources or staff members.
  • Coordinate support services, referrals, and resources for young people and their families under the guidance of Case Managers.
  • Prepare reports, compile data, and assist with program evaluation activities.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, Case Managers, and external agencies.
  • Provide practical support to clients as needed, such as assisting with transport arrangements or locating community resources.
  • Adhere strictly to all organisational policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines regarding client care and confidentiality.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all clients and visitors.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Previous volunteer or paid experience in a community services or youth-focused setting.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid Queensland Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
