Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Fontana, California. This is a critical office-based role where you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our leadership and employees, fostering a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. As an HRBP, you will be instrumental in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, driving talent management, employee relations, and organizational development strategies. You will play a key role in cultivating a thriving company culture that supports our growth and values our people. This position requires a hands-on approach to HR operations, strategic thinking, and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business units, offering expert guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Oversee the talent acquisition process for designated departments, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action plans.
- Develop and deliver training programs on HR topics such as leadership development, compliance, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support compensation and benefits administration, providing insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Champion a positive and inclusive company culture through various engagement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices (federal and California specific).
- Proven ability to build strong, credible relationships with business leaders and employees.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA with a concentration in HR.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in organizational development and change management.
- Familiarity with talent management software and analytics tools.
