Key Responsibilities
- Assist pest control technicians in setting up and preparing equipment and materials for daily service routes.
- Help carry and organize tools, supplies, and treatment products to and from service vehicles and job sites.
- Support technicians during service visits by monitoring treatment areas, preparing access points, and assisting with minor clean-up tasks.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are always in good working order.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols strictly, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with team members and occasionally with clients, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Document basic service details and assist with route planning as directed by senior technicians.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
