Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, release notes, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA teams to gather and distill technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts and specifications into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for diverse audiences.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to established style guides, terminology, and branding standards.
- Manage the full documentation lifecycle, from planning and creation to review, publication, and ongoing updates.
- Proactively identify areas for documentation improvement based on user feedback, product updates, and industry best practices.
- Participate in product design reviews and sprint planning to advocate for user experience and documentation needs from early stages.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Git, Markdown, DITA, XML editors).
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts, software architectures, and API functionalities clearly.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with API documentation and understanding of developer-facing content requirements.
