Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Manage and maintain accurate databases of artist submissions, demos, contracts, and contact information.
- Coordinate and schedule A&R meetings, listening sessions, and artist showcases, preparing necessary materials and agendas.
- Liaise with artists, managers, producers, and internal departments (e.g., Legal, Marketing) to ensure timely communication and project execution.
- Assist with the processing and tracking of demo submissions, ensuring proper categorisation and follow-up.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as required by the A&R department.
- Support the onboarding of new artists, ensuring all administrative procedures are completed efficiently.
- Assist with research into emerging artists, music trends, and industry developments.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- A genuine passion for music and a good understanding of various genres and industry trends.
