Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring correct financial labeling for each transaction.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain organized and comprehensive financial records, both physical and digital.
  • Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with payroll data entry and administration, ensuring accurate categorization of labor costs.
  • Respond to financial queries from internal departments and external vendors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
