Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic A&R Administrator to join our dedicated team in Stockport. This pivotal full-time role supports our Artist & Repertoire (A&R) department, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of artist projects from discovery to release. As an A&R Administrator, you will be the backbone of our creative operations, providing comprehensive administrative support, coordinating schedules, managing databases, and facilitating communication between artists, producers, legal teams, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
- Manage and maintain artist databases, tracking new talent submissions, demos, and artist development progress.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics for A&R team members and artists as required.
- Process invoices, expenses, and budget tracking for A&R projects, ensuring compliance with company financial policies.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of legal documents, artist contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Facilitate communication between artists, management, producers, studios, and internal departments.
- Organise and archive creative assets, including audio files, demos, videos, and promotional materials.
- Conduct research on music trends, emerging artists, and industry competitors to support A&R strategy.
- Support the planning and execution of artist showcases, recording sessions, and promotional events.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
