Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to A&R Managers and executives, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Manage and log all incoming demo submissions, maintaining a detailed tracking system and facilitating internal review processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule a variety of engagements, including recording sessions, studio bookings, travel logistics, and artist showcases.
  • Maintain and regularly update artist databases, contact lists, and project trackers with accuracy and discretion.
  • Assist with the meticulous preparation and processing of artist contracts, invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation.
  • Serve as a key liaison between artists, producers, management teams, legal counsel, and various internal departments.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials, detailed reports, and internal communications for A&R meetings.
  • Manage departmental budgets, tracking expenditures and assisting with financial forecasting.
  • Conduct research on emerging artists, music trends, and industry developments to inform A&R strategy.
  • Handle all confidential information with the utmost discretion, professionalism, and integrity.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional interaction at all levels.
