Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children on a daily basis.
- Develop and implement engaging educational and recreational activities appropriate for the children's ages.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, bath time, and bedtime.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times, both inside and outside the home.
- Help with homework and school projects, fostering a love for learning.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding the children's progress and daily activities.
- Keep children's play areas and bedrooms tidy and organized.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Manage children's laundry and ensure their clothing is clean and organized.
- Accompany children to appointments, extracurricular activities, and social outings as needed.
- Administer basic first aid if necessary and manage medication according to parents' instructions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, particularly with live-in roles.
- Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High level of patience, empathy, and responsibility.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
