Career.zycto is actively seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced Live-in Nanny to join a loving family located in the prestigious Government Residential Area (GRA) of Benin City. As a Live-in Nanny, you will be expected to provide full-time care, which includes overseeing daily routines, assisting with homework, planning engaging activities, and ensuring the children’s well-being at all times. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for children on a daily basis.
  • Develop and implement engaging educational and recreational activities appropriate for the children's ages.
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, bath time, and bedtime.
  • Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times, both inside and outside the home.
  • Help with homework and school projects, fostering a love for learning.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding the children's progress and daily activities.
  • Keep children's play areas and bedrooms tidy and organized.
  • Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  • Manage children's laundry and ensure their clothing is clean and organized.
  • Accompany children to appointments, extracurricular activities, and social outings as needed.
  • Administer basic first aid if necessary and manage medication according to parents' instructions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in childcare, particularly with live-in roles.
  • Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • High level of patience, empathy, and responsibility.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Good organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in early childhood development or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a structured family environment.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages (e.g., Edo, Yoruba, Igbo) is a plus.
