Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, personalized table service in a high-end fine dining environment.
- Warmly greet and seat guests, assisting with coats and initial inquiries.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage items, including wine pairings.
- Accurately take and transmit food and beverage orders to the kitchen/bar using the POS system.
- Serve all courses efficiently and elegantly, adhering to strict service standards and timing.
- Anticipate guest needs proactively and respond to requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and resetting.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with discretion and professionalism.
- Process payments accurately, managing cash, card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, sommeliers, and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished demeanor.
- Extensive knowledge of food, wine varietals, and spirits.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- WSET Level 1 or 2 qualification (Wine & Spirit Education Trust).

- Knowledge of local culinary traditions and seasonal Welsh ingredients.
- Previous experience with a Michelin-starred or Rosette-awarded establishment.
