Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, blended learning experiences, and coaching initiatives.
- Manage the end-to-end learning lifecycle, from content creation and vendor selection to delivery and post-program evaluation.
- Implement and oversee learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies to enhance accessibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to align L&D initiatives with overall business strategy and objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of L&D programs, reporting on ROI.
- Coach and mentor internal trainers and subject matter experts to enhance their delivery capabilities.
- Research and integrate best practices, emerging trends, and innovative learning methodologies into our L&D framework.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a dedicated Learning & Development management role.
- Demonstrable expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering diverse training modalities (e.g., in-person, virtual, blended, e-learning).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content creation tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively, particularly in a flexible work environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure program effectiveness and report on outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Relevant L&D certifications (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or higher in L&D, ATD certifications).
- Experience with digital learning platforms and gamification techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring at various organisational levels.
- Background in professional services or a fast-paced corporate environment.
