Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This role requires strategic foresight, strong leadership, and hands-on execution. The Director of Learning & Development will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning strategies that align with Career.zycto’s overarching business objectives and the evolving needs of our clients. This pivotal position demands an individual who can not only identify critical skill gaps and emerging talent requirements but also architect innovative, scalable solutions that foster a high-performance culture.
Your primary responsibility will be to create a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization, ensuring our teams possess the capabilities necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape. This includes developing robust leadership pipelines, enhancing employee engagement through targeted development programs, and leveraging cutting-edge L&D technologies to deliver impactful and measurable results. You will work closely with senior management and department heads to embed learning into the fabric of our daily operations, ultimately contributing to our strategic goals and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with organizational goals and future workforce needs.
- Design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules across various platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Partner strategically with senior leadership and Human Resources to identify critical skill gaps, forecast future training requirements, and integrate development plans with career progression.
- Manage the L&D budget, resources, and external vendor relationships effectively to ensure optimal ROI on all initiatives.
- Implement robust metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness, impact, and ROI of all learning initiatives, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and personal accountability for development across all levels of the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge trends in learning and development to ensure Career.zycto remains at the forefront of talent development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale learning and development programs within a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills with a strong ability to translate business needs into effective L&D solutions.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities with a track record of developing talent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster a learning-oriented, growth mindset environment.
- Solid understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and modern learning methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related business field.
- Professional certification in instructional design, coaching, talent development (e.g., CPTD, ACC), or change management.
- Experience with global or multi-location L&D initiatives and cross-cultural training programs.
- Familiarity with competency frameworks, talent assessment tools, and succession planning methodologies.
- Knowledge of current trends in AI/ML applications for personalized learning and data-driven L&D insights.
