Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers and scientists in executing laboratory experiments and tests according to established protocols.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples with accuracy and precision.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and basic troubleshooting.
- Accurately record, document, and organize experimental data and observations in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Perform routine quality control checks on materials, products, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Assist with the disposal of chemical and biological waste in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on research projects, sharing findings and insights.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Fundamental understanding of basic laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
