Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and budget for weddings or corporate events.
  • Develop comprehensive event proposals, including themes, concepts, décor, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
  • Create and manage detailed event timelines, budget spreadsheets, and vendor contracts.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with a diverse range of vendors (venues, caterers, photographers, florists, entertainers, etc.).
  • Oversee all logistical arrangements, including site selection, layout, equipment rentals, transportation, and accommodation if required.
  • Provide expert guidance and creative solutions throughout the planning process to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements align with the event plan and client expectations.
  • Act as the primary on-site coordinator, meticulously managing event flow and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in event planning, with a strong portfolio showcasing both wedding and corporate events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in budget management, financial tracking, and vendor negotiation.
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Familiarity with event planning software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Google Workspace).
  • A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
