Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Ensure public areas remain tidy, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Handle special cleaning requests from building management as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably in a public or commercial setting.
- Proficiency in using a variety of cleaning equipment and chemical products safely.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
