Your primary responsibilities will revolve around guest assistance, luggage handling, and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage transportation to and from their rooms.
  • Provide attentive assistance to guests with special needs, offering wheelchair support or other mobility aid as required.
  • Manage the handling and storage of luggage securely and efficiently, including tagging and retrieving items.
  • Assist guests with directions, information about hotel facilities, and local attractions.
  • Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Deliver newspapers, mail, and other requested items to guest rooms promptly.
  • Coordinate with front desk and concierge teams to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles as required, adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining detailed records.
  • Operate hotel vehicles (e.g., golf carts, shuttle buses) if licensed and required, for guest transport within the property.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to hotel grooming and conduct standards.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
  • A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with a strong guest-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality.
  • Basic understanding of hotel operations and customer service principles.
  • Valid driver's license (preferably UAE or international, for parking duties).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, Russian).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s attractions and general geography.
